Step-by-step care for your Scalp Micropigmentation
procedure
For the first three days following your procedure do not:
– Touch your scalp (unless absolutely necessary)
– Wash your scalp
– Shave your scalp
– Expose your head to any strong sunlight
– Swim
– Sweat
Once this initial period of three days is over, for the next fortnight, please ensure that you:
– Wash your scalp daily with water only
– Moisturise your scalp daily with a gentle moisturiser that is free from alcohol (Palmer’s Cocoa Butter is a good choice)
– Shave your head gently with care not to be abrasive
– Apply SPF 30+ sunscreen to your scalp if it will be exposed to strong sunlight
– Do not swim without wearing a swimming cap
– Do not sweat excessively
– Do not itch, pick, scratch or rub your scalp
Clients having density work on longer hair can wash hair as normal using a sensitive shampoo but must avoid the scalp area.
When a fortnight has passed since your last Scalp Micropigmentation session, it is important that you continue to:
– Wash and moisturise your scalp daily
– Take care when shaving your scalp
Apply strong sunscreen on days you know your scalp will be exposed to strong sunlight.

Client Feedback
If you are on this page you are obviously thinking of smp and no doubt like me maybe a little worried about the results. I never write reviews however after having smp completed by Katherine and being so happy the the out come I thought I need to. From the first consultation Katherine puts you at ease and is so passionate about her work you know you have come to the right clinic. She is a perfectionist and talks though everything thing with you. Katherine is a lovely person making you feel at ease with no rushed appointments or interuptions.
